SEAN FERRY is a bilingual multimedia storyteller who is currently focused on business innovation and design strategy. He feels that complex ideas shouldn't be complicated so he seeks narrative threads that provide simple and evident understanding of a problem.
Sean's professional career in production started at Macy's Satellite Network, a San francisco studio nestled in the 10th floor of the Macy's flagship department store. Having evolved to a Producer/Director, Sean was looking to diversify his project experience by focusing on ethnographic research and story development. He left Macy's to explore the concepts of video prototyping at the world renown design firm, IDEO which helped him uncover the impact of presenting complex design in accessible ways.
With his varied experience, he began freelancing in the San Francisco Bay Area, helping create online commercial content for Sony and exploring web-based media with MONO; telling short stories about the daily life of musicians. In 2006 he co-directed, shot and edited the Afro-Colombian documentary "Sanpachando" which won "Best Documentary" at the St. Louis Filmmakers' Showcase.
He now lives in New York City working as a Design Director with Fahrenhiet-212 developing innovation strategies (and still looking for a good burrito).
